What is your biggest desired future? What is your dream outcome? When it comes to these answers, most people are uncertain as to where they’d like to go. However, if they do ever come up with a destination, it gets put into one of three categories as to when they should act on it: Now, someday, or never. Today, Dr. Norton and Bruce discuss the three success factors to achieving your desired future and lifestyle, so that you’ll never put your dreams on hold.
[0:45] What is your biggest desired future?
[1:35] The only business and lifestyle you’re destined to have is the one you’re fully committed to designing.
[3:55] Although you may have to add new things into your life in order to expect change, you may also have to get rid of things that are holding you back.
[4:35] Once you have decided on what you want to do, you have three options as to when you can do them: Now, someday, or never.
[6:25] Write down a plan of action.
[7:10] There are three success factors that help you achieve the lifestyle you want.
[7:45] Success factor number one: Dare to dream more deeply.
[9:05] Create a business that supports your lifestyle, instead of compromising your lifestyle to support your business.
[12:20] You cannot help others at the highest level if you, yourself, are struggling.
[15:00] Always think about your compelling future, and how you can optimize your life today in order to achieve it.
[16:00] Bruce reads a poem he wrote for his mother.
[19:00] Send Bruce your poems…!
[25:30] Entrepreneurs have to be willing to go out of their comfort zone (at least a little bit), in order to achieve the success they are looking for.
[26:35] Success factor number two: Invest in the seeds and planting process, before you produce the successful harvest that you seek.
[29:00] To start, you have to plant the seeds. If you don’t, you’ll never get what you want.
[29:20] Bruce has another poem to share with you!
[30:30] So many people wait for a crop to come up, when they haven’t even planted the seeds.
[34:10] Instant gratification will not get you to your desired future.
[35:25] Success factor number three: Get outside perspectives before you commit to more planting.
[35:55] Remember, you are the most important person in your business.
[37:00] It’s important to be able to find people who ask you the most essential and meaningful questions.
